Contract | Nights, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
- Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, including identification of heart blocks
- Pass a Telemetry Competency Test (minimum score of 84%) on Day 1 of assignment
- Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients across a range of acuity levels
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Level 3 or Level 4 Emergency Department experience
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
- Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be classified at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing assignments
- Critical care experience
