Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (11:00–23:00) | Weekdays and Every Other Weekend | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity
- Initiate and manage IV access and administer medications as ordered
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient treatment plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Adhere to facility protocols; no charge, float, or on-call duties required
Required Qualifications
- Active West Virginia RN License
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Demonstrated IV start and triage skills
- Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Ability to work weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 5 or more years of Emergency Department experience
- Experience in a small Emergency Department setting
- CPI, MAB, NRP, or TNCC certification
