Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Rotating Shift (Day/Night Rotation in 4-week consecutive blocks, or Straight Nights) | 3x12-hour shifts per week | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acute emergency nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver timely patient care
- Monitor and document patient status, responses to treatment, and changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
- Ability to work rotating day/night shifts or straight nights as assigned
- Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II Trauma Center emergency department
- TNCC or CEN certification
- Strong ability to adapt to rotating schedules in a fast-paced environment
