Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Variable shift start times available: Days 7a/9a/11a, Evenings 11a/1p/3p, Nights 7p) | Expected 4 weekend shifts per schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Emergency Department with a 5-bed fast track area
- Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1, adapting to volume and arrival pattern fluctuations throughout the shift
- Collaborate with charge nurses, technicians, and paramedics as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EMR
- Apply critical thinking and clinical expertise to manage a diverse emergency patient population
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification
- ENPC certification
- CPI certification
- Strong critical thinking skills with an outgoing, hardworking personality well-suited to a fast-paced ED environment
