    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Level II Trauma Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage and monitor patients with varying acuity levels including traumas, strokes, STEMIs, respiratory distress, and critical care holds, maintaining nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3–5 based on acuity
    • Administer and monitor common drips including vasopressors, heparin, antiarrhythmics, and other critical care infusions; provide 1:1 care for ICU-level holds as needed
    • Draw labs via IV starts, read and interpret telemetry strips, and coordinate with physicians for verification
    • Collaborate with ED technicians, charge nurses, respiratory therapy, radiology, and physician staff to support efficient department throughput
    • Participate in vertical flow area care, and may assume triage responsibilities based on experience and competency validation
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current PALS certification
    • Current TNCC certification
    • Emergency Room nursing experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
    • Experience with critical care drips and management of high-acuity emergency patients
    • Prior triage experience in an emergency department setting
