    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting on 12-hour night shifts
    • Independently read and interpret cardiac monitor strips — no monitor technicians on unit
    • Complete and pass a day-one competency assessment administered at orientation (one attempt only)
    • Float to an additional affiliated hospital location as needed
    • Participate in biweekly orientation cycles as scheduled
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
    • EPIC EMR proficiency required
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
    • Must successfully complete Relias onboarding assessments (maximum 2 attempts; failure to pass may result in cancellation)
    • Candidates who have worked at this health system within the last 6 months (permanent, per diem, or contract) will not be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-volume or trauma-level emergency department
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, acuity-variable environment
    • Flexibility and comfort with floating to sister facilities within a health system
