Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed Free Standing Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
- Perform IV starts and 12-lead EKG interpretation as part of routine patient assessment and care
- Operate and monitor ventilators and point-of-care lab machines as needed
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a small night shift team consisting of one CNC and one RN to deliver safe, efficient emergency care
- Rotate weekend shifts as part of standard scheduling requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience
- Proficiency with IV insertion and 12-lead EKG performance and interpretation
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) including rotating weekends
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in small, collaborative team settings
- Experience with ventilator management and point-of-care lab equipment
