    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel Contract)

    Location

    Austin, TX | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends (4 shifts per schedule) | No Call

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 32+ beds and a 4:1 patient ratio
    • Perform and assist with procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, Medics, and PCTs across shift rotations
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
    • Anticipate patient and department needs while maintaining a strong team-player approach
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • TNCC required – must be obtained by start date
    • ENPC required – must be obtained by start date
    • ACLS certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
    • NIHSS certification required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Greater than 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
    • Experience with Meditech EMR
    • Demonstrated ability to anticipate patient and departmental needs in a fast-paced environment
