Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency department nursing care across a 50-bed unit
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 in a fast-paced ED environment
- Operate and interpret EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose equipment
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, EMTs, and medics
- Perform all standard ED procedures and respond to a broad range of acute care needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
- Active RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
- CPI Blue Card required
- Strong communication skills with staff, patients, and providers
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level I Trauma center experience
- Stroke care experience
