Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care across all patient age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a community hospital setting
- Manage patient assignments within a 1:4/5 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 31-bed Emergency Department
- Administer and document medications using the Omnicell medication system
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using Cerner
- Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend rotation (Friday and Saturday nights)
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications and facility protocols throughout the contract
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — Massachusetts license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Standard contract length of 14 weeks
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records
- First-time travelers with 2–3 years of ED experience and Epic or Cerner background are welcome to apply
- Comfort caring for complex medical patients across a broad range of acuity levels
