Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a high-volume Emergency Department setting
- Primarily care for boarder patients, which may include med/surg, stepdown, and ICU-level patients
- Float to acute care units as needed based on staffing and patient census demands
- Assess, monitor, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions in a fast-paced trauma environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience in a similarly sized Level 1 Trauma facility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Resume with no unexplained employment gaps and verifiable ED references
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for a diverse, high-acuity patient population across multiple care levels
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in float pool or multi-unit staffing environments
- Strong clinical assessment skills in trauma and emergency care settings
