Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and disposition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care delivered
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license currently in hand
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 18 months of Emergency Room experience within the past 3 years
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in a high-acuity environment
- Familiarity with stroke protocols and neurological assessment tools
