Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a free-standing emergency department setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility standards
- Respond to emergent and critical situations with clinical competence and composure
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in a fast-paced emergency care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience in a high-volume or Level II trauma center environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
