Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in a 54-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Perform clinical assessments, prioritize patient needs, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced ER environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, paramedics, and CNAs across day and night shifts
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage as required by unit scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Strong prioritization and time management skills in a high-acuity setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to work as a team player in a collaborative unit environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EHR system
