Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within an acute care hospital
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 in accordance with unit standards
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
- Participate in weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, with the possibility of additional weekends to meet unit needs
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS (BCLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- PALS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard contract rates; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a different rate
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of candidate submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Community hospital experience preferred
- First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment
