    RN – Emergency Department

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a busy community Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department
    • Manage a patient assignment within a 27-bed Emergency Department, maintaining standard ratios with flexibility during peak census periods
    • Care for a diverse patient population including stroke center cases and a wide range of emergency diagnoses
    • Fulfill weekend shift requirements as scheduled (approximately 5–6 weekend shifts per scheduling period)
    • Observe holiday coverage requirements including one major and one minor holiday per contract period
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association required
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – American Heart Association required
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification – American Heart Association required
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a combined Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department setting
    • Familiarity with stroke center protocols and high-acuity emergency care
