Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with facility protocols and physician orders
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes
- Adhere to all facility safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Louisiana or compact state eligibility
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required prior to submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS and/or ENPC certification
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Familiarity with high-volume, acute care hospital environments
