Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Maintain a safe patient care environment in alignment with facility safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Louisiana or compact state eligibility
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required prior to start date
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must meet 50-mile radius travel requirement from assignment location
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Experience working in a large, accredited acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and compliance requirements
