    Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide inpatient nursing care to admitted patients transitioning from the Emergency Department in a fast-paced Adult Admission Unit setting
    • Monitor, interpret, and manage telemetry and dysrhythmias across a diverse patient population covering all specialties except ICU-level acuity
    • Manage frequent patient turnover, including transferring patients out and admitting new patients, within a 17-bed unit with up to 8 hall beds at a 1:4–5 ratio
    • Operate and manage a variety of medical equipment while maintaining strong time management across a high-acuity caseload
    • Float as required to adjacent units including inpatient PCU areas and ICU for sub-acute care assignments
    • Serve as relief charge nurse as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active or pending RN license (non-local applicants only; must reside more than 100 miles from facility)
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience; Emergency Room or high-acuity experience required for this specialty
    • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required (RQI certifications not accepted)
    • Demonstrated ability to monitor and interpret telemetry and manage dysrhythmias
    • Proficiency with Cerner charting system
    • Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles: Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve & New Year's Day
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience preferred, particularly for Emergency Room placements
    • Experience in PCU, progressive care, or high-acuity medical-surgical environments
    • Familiarity with admission unit or ED holding unit workflows and high patient-turnover environments
