    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Location

    Albuquerque, NM

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Onsite | 36 or 48 hours per week available | 10-week minimum assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department, with a significant portion of patients being admitted holds
    • Administer medications including IV medications in accordance with the seven medication rights
    • Document and communicate clinical findings accurately and in a timely manner
    • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 and manage ED holding patients as census demands
    • Float to Adult PCUs based on staffing needs; optional floating to Pediatric ED; potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma based on experience
    • Work weekends as scheduled, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license (state license may be pending at time of submission)
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience (1.5 years may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
    • Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required prior to submission (NIH may pend until compliance due date)
    • RQI certifications are not accepted; standard certifications only
    • Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles: Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve & New Year's Day
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (non-local candidates only; non-local driver's license required)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred; candidates with 2+ years of Level I Trauma experience may be considered without travel experience
    • Level I Trauma center experience preferred
    • Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
    • 48-hour contract eligibility requires both Level I Trauma and travel nursing experience
