Contract | Night Shift | 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting, including management of admitted and ED holding patients
Administer medications including IV medications in accordance with the seven medication rights
Document and communicate clinical findings accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 in the Emergency Department
Float to Adult PCUs based on staffing needs; optional float to Pediatric ED; potential float to ED Holding and Trauma based on experience
Work scheduled weekend shifts as needed, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in the state of New Mexico (may be pending at time of submission)
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience (1.5 years may be considered)
Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (TNCC must be obtained prior to submission; NIH may pend until compliance due date)
NIH Stroke Scale certification
RQI certifications are not accepted; standard certifications only
Must not reside within 100 miles of the facility; non-local driver's license required on file
Level I Trauma experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years of Level I experience may be considered without prior travel experience
Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
