    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing approximately 180–200 visits per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, performing own lab draws and IV starts
    • Care for a diverse case mix including trauma, CVA, orthopedic, and neurological presentations; facility serves as a CVA center
    • Monitor and manage ventilated patients held in the ED in coordination with 24/7 dedicated respiratory therapy staff
    • Support a 6-bed behavioral health lockdown area staffed by psychiatry, utilizing safety sitters and security resources as needed
    • Adhere to orientation requirements, scrub color policy (Caribbean Blue), weekend rotation (every other weekend), and holiday rotation (every other holiday)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in good standing
    • Minimum 5 years of emergency room nursing experience
    • At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
    • Proficiency with Meditech (version 6.15)
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS or NIHSS, and CPI
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-volume, Level II or higher emergency department environment
    • Familiarity with trauma, stroke (CVA), and neurological patient populations
    • Prior experience working alongside mid-level providers (NP/PA) in a fast-paced ED setting
