    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Location

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Mid Shift | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing approximately 180–200 visits per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, performing independent lab draws and IV starts
    • Care for a diverse case mix including trauma, CVA, orthopedic, and neurological presentations; facility is a designated CVA center
    • Monitor and manage ventilated patients held in the ED until admission, in coordination with 24/7 dedicated respiratory therapy staff
    • Document and manage patient care using Meditech 6.15 EMR
    • Adhere to department dress code (Caribbean Blue scrubs only) and complete all required orientation shifts within the first week of assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in good standing
    • Minimum 5 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
    • At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS or NIHSS, and CPI
    • Proficiency with Meditech EMR (version 6.15 experience required)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency department environment
    • Familiarity with behavioral health protocols and working alongside a dedicated psychiatric lock-down unit within the ED
    • Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams including paramedics, nurse aides, central monitoring techs, and pharmacy staff
