Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to serve as a Nursing Supervisor within a fast-paced Emergency Services environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, patient care delivery, staffing coordination, quality initiatives, and team development while ensuring a safe, efficient, and patient-focused care environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure safe, effective patient care delivery within the assigned department
  • Coordinate staffing assignments, workload distribution, and schedule adjustments as needed
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, operational challenges, and staffing changes
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and clinical support to nursing personnel
  • Delegate responsibilities appropriately and monitor completion of assigned duties
  • Support staff development through ongoing education, mentorship, and coaching
  • Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives
  • Monitor patient care outcomes and implement corrective actions when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare team members
  • Assist with departmental goal achievement, resource management, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Perform additional leadership and clinical responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
  • Multi-State RN License or eligibility to obtain, as required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • CPI Certification required within orientation period
  • Additional unit-specific certifications required within orientation period
  • Prior acute care nursing experience required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and clinical assessment skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-3 years of acute care or comparable clinical experience
  • Demonstrated leadership or charge nurse experience
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership responsibilities
  • Emergency department experience preferred
  • Strong conflict-resolution and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience with staffing coordination and departmental operations
