**Job Description:**
- **Position**: ER Registered Nurse
- **Unit**: Emergency Room (ER RN) - CC 105105035
- **Shift**: Night Shift (4x12-Hour, 19:00 - 07:00)
- **Experience**:
- Minimum of 1 year in ER required
- First-timers are welcome!
- **Certifications Required**:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- **Patient Ratios**:
- 1 nurse for every 5 patients with mixed/shared acuity levels
- **Schedule Flexibility**:
- Open to accommodating block schedules (not guaranteed)
- Minimal RTO is appreciated
- **Requirements**:
- Must have competency in phlebotomy and IV placement (mandatory skill at Unity)
- Willingness to float when census requires
- Every other weekend availability
- **Key Skills**:
- General Emergency Department experience (Combined Adult/Pedi)
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Patient management for multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Blood product administration
- Central line care/management
- Phlebotomy and starting IVs
- Continuous IV paralytics and sedation
- Emergency medications and IV vasopressors
- Procedural sedation administration
- Stroke management (CVA)
- Isolation precautions
- **Charting System**: Epic (Preferred)
- **Scrub Color**: Any combination of navy and white
