Description:
The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in emergency care.
Shifts are available for both day and night with a contract duration of 13 weeks.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care for adult patients in an emergency setting.
Experience with IV therapy, including blood product administration and central line care, is essential.
Interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias are also necessary skills for this role.
The nurse will be expected to manage acute cases, including CVA, neuro-trauma, and spinal cord injuries.
Familiarity with emergency care protocols for adult and pediatric patients is required.
The nurse may be required to float within their skill set as needed.
Weekend and holiday availability is necessary.
Isolation precautions and triage experience are important aspects of the position.
