Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) for an inpatient setting in Chico, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing various interventional radiology procedures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for patient assessment, procedural sedation administration, monitoring during procedures, and post-procedure recovery. Flexibility to float to other radiology nursing areas as needed is also a key aspect of this dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an inpatient interventional radiology setting.
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Manage patient recovery post-procedure, including vital sign monitoring and complication assessment.
- Assist interventional radiologists during various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to other radiology nursing areas as required to support departmental needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology nursing.
- Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Demonstrated experience with procedural sedation and patient recovery.
