Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.
The candidate will work night shifts, with a ratio of 1 nurse to 4 patients.
The patient population includes all age ranges, from infants to geriatrics.
The daily census averages 130 patients.
The nurse will handle a variety of patient diagnoses and complex cases in a fast-paced environment.
Weekends and holidays are required as scheduled.
Floating within the specialty may be required.
No pre-scheduled on-call duties are expected.
The nurse must be proficient in various emergency procedures and patient care management.
Experience with patient charting systems is preferred.
Candidates are required to have certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI.
This role demands strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic setting.
