Job Summary

Join the dedicated surgical team at SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) in Sitka, Alaska. This role is based within a dynamic Operating Room environment, providing essential care for a diverse patient population undergoing both elective and emergency surgical procedures.

The facility handles a comprehensive range of cases, including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedics, vascular, and OB/GYN surgeries. As an OR Circulator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely progression of surgical cases throughout the day, contributing to optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of patient care in the operating room as a Circulator.
• Ensure efficient and timely progression of surgical cases throughout the day.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon's needs and facilitate the smooth flow of the surgical team.
• Document all aspects of nursing care accurately and thoroughly.
• Utilize after-hour call services for nights, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
