Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a travel assignment in Middlebury, VT. This role is perfect for a registered nurse with a strong background in emergency care, looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced hospital environment. The assignment spans 16-26 weeks in a critical access emergency department.

Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department RN

• Utilize the ESI triage scale for patient assessment
• Administer drips and infusions as required
• Perform EKGs and IV insertions
• Apply patient restraints when necessary
• Conduct procedural sedation
• Transport patients via ambulance when needed

Requirements of the Emergency Department RN

• Active RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in emergency nursing
• At least one completed travel contract
• Recent EPIC system experience (within the last 2 years)
