Level 1 Trauma experience required.
Description:
These needs are specifically for winter coverage for a 10-week contract only.
Local radius restrictions are waived for this assignment.
Must start by 12/18/2026.
No holiday requests time off permitted.
No more than 5 days of requests time off are allowed.
Shifts are 4x12 hour days.
Cross-training and floating to other campuses and observation units will occur.
The average RN to patient ratio is 1:6 during days and nights.
Travelers will not be assigned trauma/rescue rooms or triage.
Travelers will not work in locked behavioral health units.
If a traveler RN calls out on their scheduled weekend shift, a makeup shift will be scheduled within the next 6-week period.
Travelers should contact management immediately after a missed shift to request a specific makeup day.
Makeup shifts will be scheduled based on department staffing needs.
If the makeup shift is called out, it will be rescheduled to the immediate following weekend with a warning.

Total staffed beds are 1,567.
Charting is done using an electronic system.
Patient Care Details:
Cares for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily census includes approximately 120 patients.
Number of visits per day is around 300.
Includes both adult and pediatric populations in various emergency units.
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
The facility offers interdisciplinary support from various services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
Patient diagnoses include trauma cases and comprehensive stroke care.
Special equipment includes ED techs who assist with certain tasks to ensure efficient patient care.
