The shift includes a combination of evening and night rotations. Nurses will be required to chart using the EPIC system. Every other weekend work is required, and requests for time off must be submitted upon application. The candidate must be available to work every other holiday. First-time travelers are accepted for this position, while local applicants within a specified radius are not. The role requires floating to other areas within the hospital as needed. The nurse to patient ratio will be 1:5 for adults and geriatrics. Candidates must have experience in emergency care for various conditions including trauma and cardiac events.
