The schedule will consist of night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The contract length is for 15 weeks. Registered Nurses will be required to work every other weekend and every other holiday, if needed. Successful candidates must submit requests for any time off prior to submission. The position requires active participation in patient care for adults and geriatrics. Clinical skills required include IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care for various diagnoses. Candidates should have experience with isolation precautions and triage. Floating within the skillset may be required. The emergency department employs a patient ratio of 1:5. Technological proficiency in handling specialized equipment such as Bair hugger and rapid infuser is necessary. This is a dynamic environment involving rapid patient care and advanced diagnostic technology. Personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
