The position requires working night shifts for 12 hours. A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the emergency room is required. Candidates must hold active certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS. Chatting in the emergency department will involve a patient ratio of 1:4. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with urgent and emergent needs. Call duty will be required, rotating every other weekend and for holidays as necessary. IV starts and phlebotomy skills are essential for this position. Familiarity with Cerner charting system is preferred. Candidates may come into contact with Covid patients. All employees must have the flu vaccine with no exemptions allowed.
