The facility is a 198-bed level III trauma center. It provides healthcare services to a diverse region. The hospital features state-of-the-art operating suites. Various trauma cases are managed at this facility. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. The hospital also boasts a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, and behavioral health unit. Additional services include a day surgery center and advanced imaging and lab testing. The facility has been recognized for its beautiful architecture and healthcare services. The surrounding area offers a variety of recreational activities, including hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. The patient population includes those with ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and other conditions. Nurses will work in a team nursing environment with a pod system in place. A social worker is assigned to the department, alongside a unit educator. The emergency department has a patient ratio of 4:1 in the main area and 6:1 in fast track. Equipment used includes a Zoll Defibrillator, blood transfuser, blood warmer, and ultrasound guided IV systems. The electronic health record system in use is Cerner.
