**Job Description:**
- Shift Accountability: Provide exceptional care to Emergency Room patients.
- Nursing Process: Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Critical Thinking & Leadership: Demonstrate strong decision-making and leadership skills to ensure safe patient care.
- Clinical Competency: Maintain and enhance clinical skills through ongoing education and training.
- Delegation: Effectively delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Supervision: Provide direction and support to assigned personnel in delivering compassionate patient care.
- Shift Details: Nights 7 PM - 7:30 AM (3x12s) – must be available to begin within 2 weeks of offer acceptance.
- Flexibility: Must be willing to float as needed.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and an active AZ License are mandatory.
- EMR Experience: Familiarity with Cerner is preferred.
- Dress Code: Black scrubs; professionalism is key.
- Facility Features:
- Trauma Level III Certified
- Stroke Receiving
- STEMI Receiving
- NIH certification is recommended, but not required.
