**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Travel ER RN
- **Start:** ASAP
- **Duration:** 13 weeks
- **Shift:** Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- **Floating Required**
**Key Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2+ years in emergency nursing
- **Certifications Required:** ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
- **Preferred Certifications:** NRP, ENPC
**Important Details:**
- **Fingerprints for All NM Travelers Required**
- **Emergency Department:** Level 3 Trauma
- **Patient Ratio:** 4:1
- **Blocked Scheduling:** Not Approved
- **Floating:** Within nurse's scope and experience, typically to ICU
- **Scrub Color:** Any color scrubs; full uniform required
- **EMR:** MedHost (EDIS)
**Core Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education
- Delegate patient care priorities based on education and experience of available staff
- Supervise and guide assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Perform thorough assessments and communicate findings effectively
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects proficiently
- Uphold safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
