Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at submission. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted. Must be comfortable with drips and vents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively is essential. Description: Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through adulthood. Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize the nursing process. Function in accordance with nursing philosophy, standards of care, and practice. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. Must have experience with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC. Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment. Profile must include all required documentation for compliance. Requests for scheduling accommodations should not be made after submission. Travelers are expected to have a professional dress code, and all scrubs must be without logos. Orientation will be unpaid, and documentation must be collected within five days of acceptance. Travelers must have the ability to collaborate effectively with the emergency department staff and pre-hospital personnel. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within the specified timeframe. Any requested time off must be included in the submitted profile.
