**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Acute Travel RN: ER
- **Shift:** 11A - 11P
- **Location:** Ottumwa Regional Health Center, Ottumwa, IA
- **Patient Population:** Primarily adults, including geriatric patients
**Key Highlights:**

- Opportunity to work a guaranteed 36 or 48 hours — indicate preference upon submission
- Join an emergency room team with a focus on adult and geriatric care
- Embrace a manageable patient ratio of 1:6 with approximately 40 visits a day
**Onboarding Requirements:**
- Iowa SING BG check required (criminal and child abuse portions)
- All background checks must be clear before starting — no instant or statewide searches accepted
- Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult)
- 10-panel drug test required, including opiates
- Recent titers needed within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB)
- Monday or Tuesday start dates available
**Unit Information:**

- **Electronic Health Record System:** MediTech
- **Required Certifications:** BLS (AHA), ACLS, TNCC
- **Experience:** 1-2 years in acute care facility preferred
- **Call Coverage:** Required to address daily volume and 24/7 coverage

- Scrubs required; specific color to be determined
- Unacceptable attire includes non-scrub clothing
