Rotating shifts are required for day rotate when requested, but the night position does not rotate.

The department includes a separate pediatric pod and an acute mental health area. The average census is approximately 230 visits per day. The clinician-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Experience in Emergency Nursing is required. Candidate must be able to float to ED Observation, AMU, and ED Psych. Rotating shifts are required for day rotate when requested, but the night position does not rotate. Familiarity with EMR (Charting System) is essential. Strong critical thinking and patient education skills are necessary.
