Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room, Level I trauma experience required Required experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Experience with EPIC charting preferred License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS BCLS PALS TNCC NIH Must-Have: Ability to work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) out of a 4-week schedule Willingness to acknowledge high patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:5-6, which may increase depending on patient volume Required certifications must be current and cannot pend beyond contract start Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level I trauma center. Candidates should have experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, with a preference for those familiar with EPIC charting. The position involves providing care in a high-acuity environment with a patient ratio that can range from 1:5 to 1:8, depending on various factors including patient volume and holidays. Certifications in ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH are required. This role may also involve the management of continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration. Candidates should be comfortable potentially floating to pediatric emergency care if necessary. The facility serves a diverse patient population, including adults and children, and offers a wide range of services including trauma and critical care. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit, enhancing patient care delivery.
