License: Valid RN license required.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and a de-escalation certification are required.
Must-Have:
- Experience in a large, urban, fast-paced emergency department with significant volume.
- Experience with ventilated patients is required.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system is required.
- Level 1 trauma experience is preferred.
- Must cover every other weekend with four weekend shifts per contract.
- Must be able to float to sister locations as needed.
Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our emergency room team.
The role requires providing care to patients in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:5.
Experience with ventilated patients and trauma care is essential.
Our emergency department sees approximately 210 visits per day.
This position supports patient care technicians and medics on the unit.
Every other weekend coverage is required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exemplary nursing skills and a commitment to patient care.
