TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years experience preferred, with Level I trauma center experience and one travel assignment. License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. - Experience with EPIC charting system. - Level I Trauma experience preferred. Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care. This is a mid-shift position from 12:00 PM to 12:30 AM. The schedule consists of 3 or 4 days per week, including every other weekend. The work environment is fast-paced, handling virtual patient care and high-acuity cases. The nurse will be responsible for ratios of 4:1, with occasional flex to 5:1. Candidates typically need 3 years of experience, but those with 2-3 years of experience and relevant trauma center experience may be considered. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position. Weekend shifts are required every other week. Travel nurses must float within the designated service line. Only 7 days of RTO are permitted during the 13-week contract. Candidates must demonstrate competency in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. The facility provides a variety of patient care, including trauma, stroke, and heart attack cases. Candidates must be capable of managing behavioral health patients in the emergency department. The nurse will primarily work in fast track and rapid medical evaluation areas as needed. Active participation in patient care requires proficiency with various medical and emergency procedures.
