Contract | 4x12 Hours | Evening/Night Shifts (3:00 PM–3:30 AM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a Level II Trauma, Magnet-designated, teaching facility
• Perform triage assessments and manage emergency patient presentations with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to inpatient units as needed to support staffing demands, including areas such as Med/Surg, Ortho, Neuro, ICU, Progressive Care, OB, NICU, PICU, Peds, and Mental Health
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday coverage as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Triage experience required
• Active Minnesota RN license in hand, or proof of Minnesota license application submitted at time of submission (Minnesota is not a compact state)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• ENPC or PALS certification required
• Must be willing and able to float to inpatient units within scope of practice
• Must commit to completing Minnesota Livescan fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract; fingerprinting must be completed in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date
• Must not live within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred
• Arterial line (Art Line) experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
