Description:
The position requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
The candidate must have 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years.
Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications are required.
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course must be completed within 6 months of hire or Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) is preferred.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias is preferred.
NIH Stroke Scale Certificate is required.
