Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Location: Upstate New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM, 36 or 48 hours per week
Highlights:
- 64-bed Emergency Department serving diverse patient populations from newborn to geriatric
- High-acuity case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- Specialty equipment experience including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
- Comprehensive drip protocols including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation medications
- Charge nurse capability highly preferred
Requirements:
- Active New York RN license verified through NURSYS
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric exposure
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
- SANE care provision expected for assigned patients
