Description:
Full-time night shifts.
Schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Must work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
Minimal holiday requests off allowed; must work 2 out of the 4 holidays.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Experience with trauma Level I or Level II hospitals preferred.
Required skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, and central line management.
Capable of providing procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
Experience with interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias is necessary.
Must have knowledge in managing patients with cerebrovascular accidents, gunshot wounds, head injuries, and neuro-trauma.
Patient ratios are 5:1 during nights and 4:1 on weekends.
Ability to float to different units as needed is essential.
Telemedicine capabilities are available in the department, catering to all age groups.
Interdisciplinary support includes various healthcare services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
No open cases permitted during the background check.
All candidates are required to pass a compliance EKG exam.
