Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 11, 2026

Location: New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shift, 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM. Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.

Highlights:

  • High-acuity Emergency Department with 64 beds including trauma, acute care, fast track, observation, and psychiatric emergency services
  • Diverse patient population spanning newborns through geriatrics with complex diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
  • EPIC electronic medical records system utilized throughout the facility
  • Charge nurse capability highly preferred for qualified candidates
  • Experience with specialty equipment including Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun therapeutic temperature management systems
  • 13-week travel nursing assignment with competitive travel package

Requirements:

  • Active New York State Registered Nurse license required
  • Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience with pediatric patient care experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Current certifications required: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
  • EPIC EMR experience required
