Schedule: Evening/Night shift, 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Highlights:
- 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Comprehensive case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Specialized units include 40 acute beds, 2 trauma bays, 6 super track, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
- EPIC EMR system utilized throughout the facility
- Charge nurse capability highly preferred; floating required as needed
- 13-week assignment with opportunity for extension
Requirements:
- Active New York State RN license (verified through NURSYS)
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient care
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (all required)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Valid driver's license and up-to-date professional resume
- Proficiency with critical drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation agents
- Experience with specialty equipment such as rapid infuser and Arctic Sun
