Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM; floating required as needed

Highlights:

  • 64-bed Emergency Department with comprehensive trauma and critical care capabilities including 2 trauma bays, 40 acute care beds, and dedicated CDU and psychiatric units
  • Diverse patient population spanning newborns through geriatric patients with high-acuity cases including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
  • EPIC electronic medical record system in use
  • Charge nurse capability highly preferred
  • Work with advanced specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
  • Experience with critical drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation protocols

Requirements:

  • Active New York RN license
  • Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Must reside 75+ miles from facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Valid driver's license with current address
