Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse ER (Adult)- Administer IV therapy, including blood products and maintenance of central lines
- Manage non-invasive ventilation strategies like CPAP/BiPAP
- Provide care for stroke, neuro-trauma, and spinal cord injury patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, addressing dysrhythmias as needed
- Deliver emergency care, managing conditions from gunshot wounds to orthopedic trauma
- Implement isolation precautions and execute accurate patient triage
Requirements of the Registered Nurse ER (Adult)- Active New York Single State RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience in EPIC charting system
- Proficiency in advanced clinical skills, such as IV vasopressors and ventilator management
